We all love to laugh and we thought we would gather some of the Heating and Air Conditioning anecdotes that you might enjoy as well. This is strictly a FUN post to our blog. If you know of any good HVAC jokes or read some somewhere we hope you will share some with us. We found most of these on this website: http://www.lacool.ws/hvac%20humor.htm Hope you like them too….

“Delayed ignition” is the term used to describe the mini-explosion that occurs when it takes too long for the pilot or igniter to ignite the gas. The math formula for calculating the outcome is:
How many seconds the gas builds up in the chamber before igniting compared to how big the technician’s eyes get while waiting for it to ignite.

Your credibility might be shot if: You open your sliding truck door and it falls off in the customer’s driveway.

A customer’s new, computerized furnace stops working. But each time the technician shows up, it works flawlessly.
The exasperated technician tells the customer:
“I had a car just like that. Every time I drove it past the junk yard, it ran just fine”.

Why are computers like air conditioners?
They quit working properly when you open Windows.

Technician: “How long has the AC not been working?”
Customer: “2 weeks”.
Technician: “Why did you wait 2 weeks to have it fixed?”
Customer: “My in-laws were here. They were planning to stay for a month.”

There are plenty more where this came from. Read, Share, and even create some of your own!

After all the rain and cool spells that means that the pine trees are leaking out the yellow dust on everything, the leaves have been falling all over the place and now with this warm spell little creations are coming out as well as all the bugs. This can mean that your outside heating and air unit might be getting clutter in the fan or even a few unwanted guests. If you haven’t checked your unit recently you might want to do that this weekend to make sure that it is free of debris and other things that can get inside. If you suspect a problem you can always call us for help.

Remember prevent future problems by keeping both your inside and outside units free of dust, twigs, leaves and other things. And of course, you want to clean or replace your inside filter(s) on a regular basic. Nothing keeps those repair bills down like maintaining a regular cleaning and servicing schedule.

Getting your air conditioning service is essential to saving you money and keeping you and your family cool this summer. This cannot be emphasized enough. You should have already gotten this done in the spring but we can still do this for you now. You can help with this by keeping your filters cleaned and/or replaced regularly, clean all vents at least every month to keep the airflow going, and keeping the area around your unit on the outside of the house free of debris. These little things will help you save money all year long. Here is a short little video of what you should expect from any service technician.

We look forward to hearing from you soon and help you save money on your energy bills and future air conditioning repairs.

Welcome to the new and improved website for Anderson Air Systems LLC. We hope you will subscribe to our website as we post more articles and beef up our information for our customers. We have been working hard the past 12 months helping our customers maintain their current heating and air conditioning systems, repairing where necessary and installing new systems as needed. With the cold weather upon us it is important that you keep your filters clean, your outside unit free of debris and your inside unit free of dust build up as well. These are simple things you can do to keep your current system working at its peak and, hopefully, keep your electric bill down as much as possible. To help your unit to not have to work as hard you might want to look into getting new insulation in your attic and resealing your doors and windows (replacing those if needed).

Spring will be the time to consider having your unit serviced before the weather becomes too hot. Give us a call and we can discuss our servicing prices. We will let you know if your unit needs to be replaced and work with you as best we can on scheduling a complete overhaul, if needed. In the mean time, keep your vents and filters cleaned and your units free from debris and little creatures.
